09/23/2020- The worst airline I’ve ever had to deal with. Because of covid 9 pandemic I have the unpleasure to contact this airline 3 different times over the phone to reschedule a flight from Lima, Peru to the United stated. Every time I get a hold of someone over the phone they take my information, Id, email address, etc. to then put me on hold for 30-40 minutes to give me the same answer over and over and don’t help me. The call ended being 1 ½-2 hours long. They are very rude, unprofessional, lazy people that only avoid to do their jobs, they put you on hold just to waste time and waste their time at work. I tried the online chat and it was even worse. I tried 4 different times, waited about 40 minutes each time and when it was my turn to speak with someone they told me that my session has ended. When I finally got a hold of someone (Jorge at that time) I start typing in Spanish and they only reply to me with a link to speak with someone in Spanish, then I start typing in English and they hung up and ended the session. The worst of the worst, I cannot believe there are people that can do this to other people. I will never recommend this airline to anyone, stay away from them to avoid this terrible customer service09/26/2020 I called avianca again after waiting for 40 minutes to talk to an agent I got a hold of Randy Peralta who took the call and asked me a few questions about the reservation. Like always he putted me on hold for 5 minutes, after that he came back to me asking me to wait for another 5 minutes, until at the end he told he cannot help me, He told me that I will have to contact the airline that cancelled the flight and after I explaining him that I talked to the airline before I call avianca he started taking over me and raising his voice to me stating that I don’t understand treating me very disrespectful to tell me that because I don’t understand he will explain again to me. I told him I do understand, but I just talked to the other airline that I was told that Avianca issue the ticket and they have to find a different day for the flight. I asked him his full name and employee number, he only gave me his full name Randy Peralta but refused to give me his employee#, then I requested to speak with a supervisor at first he refused, then I asked again for his employee # or talk to a supervisor, he put me on hold for another 5 minutes to then come back to me after waiting 5 minutes to ask me to wait for another 5 minutes, at that point I was done talking to him. I just wanted to warn all people to avoid buying or book any flights from them, because if there is a problem with your reservation or anything you will be risk to be treated this way and wasting a lot of your time too, Stay away from this terrible Company and their terrible customer service.
